IG Partners assists companies and private equity funds in assessing market competitive and financial positions, in carrying out specific projects and in evaluating potential acquisitions and partners, to help them develop their strategies.
In addition to energy and the environment, IG Partners has dealt with biomedical, arts, media and high-end consumer goods.
M&A AND CORPORATE ADVISORY SERVICES
Identifying, structuring and evaluating investment opportunities for mergers and acquisitions is one of IG Partners main activities when assisting investors and in some cases targets’ entrepreneurs in the definition of the most appropriate strategies.
Assessing and evaluating the value for investment targets is probably IG Partners most frequent assignment; every year IG Partners ‘due-diligences’ for itself and for its clients several investments opportunities.
IG Partners also helps companies in their budgeting and controlling activities and in designing and running their management systems.
PERFORMANCE TRACKING, RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS
Since 2006 IG Partners has produced a periodic analysis of the European renewable listed companies, currently distributed to the main Italian stakeholders of the broad environmental sector. As part of such analysis, IG Partners developed its own IGP Index for renewables which includes the main European listed pure play alternative energy companies and helps to gauge and portray the sector performance in detail.
IG Partners regularly publishes research reports and analyses of topical issues/trends affecting the green energy industry. The group’s most recent publication is “Come il clima cambia il business (How climate changes business)”, a book printed and distributed in Italy by the editor Franco Angeli In December 2015.
Sharing risk is often the most important aspect of a partnership. Likewise, the ability to correctly evaluate investments is a key aspect of strategic consulting.
As a result, IG Partners considers itself – and often is – an investor, alongside with its clients and partners.
Between 2006 and today IG Partners has invested in an Italian biotech venture sold in 2013, in a Mongolian tree growing venture, in a French start -up for the production of biochar and in an Italian auction house.
